Job summary

Bancroft is seeking Senior Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care for autistic and developmentally disabled individuals in Camden and Burlington counties, NJ. This full-time, non-exempt role offers an hourly wage and career growth opportunities within the Adult Residential department.

You will supervise staff, support daily living activities, and help individuals thrive in a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; BA in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is desirable.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience, or at least 6 months of program experience within Bancroft is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, guidance, instruction and skill-building to persons served within a specific program site regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities and interaction with others.
• Supervise direct care staff and be in charge of program site activities in the absence of the Program Manager.
• Support program operations with a compassionate, respectful approach and promote autonomy for individuals served.

Hourly Rate: $22.36-$22.81/hr

Bancroft is looking for Senior Direct Support Professionals who are passionate about providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. Our Sr Direct Care Professionals must have a strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required with additional education in a related field desirable. BA in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
