Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst to assist with program development and implementation. You will coordinate across teams, monitor timelines, budgets and risks, and help drive SOC program delivery with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.

You will prepare meeting materials, update project plans, and communicate changes to stakeholders. The role emphasizes analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience creating, scheduling, and maintaining program plans or related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with program management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly coordinates with internal customers on complex hardware programs to identify and meet demand, track and communicate program status updates, and ensure compliance with processes and guidelines.
  • Prepares core meetings under guidance of the Hardware Program Managers and documents key discussion points, project plan changes, and stakeholder needs.
  • Contributes to and updates project plans to support SOC programs. This includes managing the priorities, timelines, critical tasks, and stakeholder identification for each task. Tracks the progress and execution of SOC chip deliverables to ensure deadlines are met and identifies and escalates issues that may impact deadlines.
  • Manages and communicates changes in program timelines, priorities, and deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Identifies risks and issues in limited capacity that occur throughout the program lifecycle, communicates issues to the Hardware Program Manager, and identifies team members needed to determine a solution.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data and program metrics using advanced tools (e.g., macros, pivot tables, charts, graphs) and resolves inconsistencies.
  • Maintains and updates databases using advanced aspects of data management tools (e.g., Excel, agile).
  • Synthesizes moderately complex data and metrics into a summary of key trends, risks, and changes, and presents results into a report that can be easily understood by key stakeholders.
  • Gathers feedback and implements improvements to assigned planning processes, tools, and methods.
  • Strong analytical skills, data analysis, critical thinking and problem solving, ability to collect, organize, interpret data, identify trends and patterns to aid in decision making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working across engineering, operations, and management.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration data management tools (Workfront, MS bookings, Tableau, etc.); experience tracking complex execution schedule plans is a plus, AI tools proficiency is an added bonus.

General Summary

Typically, a program needing a Program Analyst will be of significant size and will require expertise related to the development of project management mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of relevant work experience.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $35.19 - $52.79 per hour. Additional compensation includes a competitive discretionary bonus program and potential annual RSU grants.
