Job summary

PPS is seeking a Production Technician to process and clean parts at our state-of-the-art facility near Sky Harbor Airport. These manufacturing processes may use various different machines, processes, and chemicals to meet our customers' needs.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communications
• Computer literate, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including some weekend and evening work

Responsibilities

• Process parts utilizing chemical and manual cleaning methods
• Perform various processing steps (receiving, wiping, masking, chemical processing, machine operation, etching, cleaning) as needed
• Follow SOPs, Lean manufacturing processes and company policies
• Maintain daily organization and upkeep of assigned process area
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely and dispose of chemicals per policy
• Report progress and achieve task goals efficiently
• Maintain safety and environmental awareness through safe work habits
• Seek to advance skills and learn new processes
