Job summary

Howmet is seeking a Production Technician III for our Large Products Department in Waco, TX. The role focuses on producing parts to print/specifications and maintaining equipment, while serving as a tooling readiness specialist as directed.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating machinery, performing process measurements, and assisting with tooling inventories. The successful candidate will train others and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in complex mechanical work.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up equipment to meet drawings and specifications.
• Perform statistical process measurements and data entry.
• Order and maintain tooling, gauges, and supplies.
• Train other operators and support continuous improvement.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance.
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain shop floor cleanliness.
