Job summary

V2X is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support assembly operations and contribute to component fabrication. You will work with design engineers, program leadership, and production teams to translate concepts into rapid, high-mix/low-volume production.

The role involves progressing work instructions, routings, and PFMEA support while coordinating with cross‑functional teams. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in aerospace/defense manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with SAP

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in general industrial assembly manufacturing.
3-5+ years in industrial machining or metal fabrication (forming/welding).
Experience writing detailed work instructions for assembly/rework.
Experience using ERP to generate production routings (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
Experience using 3D CAD programs to create production drawings.

Responsibilities

Determine production operations to bring a product to fruition and support CI activities.
Develop technical work instructions and provide hands-on troubleshooting with production.
Enter production routings and BOMs in SAP ERP and develop visual instructions.
Support DFx activities and evaluate root causes and corrective actions.
