Johnson Controls is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage production employees in assigned areas, ensuring meeting plant goals and on-time shipping. You will coordinate daily/weekly plans with department leaders and enforce safety, quality, and training standards.
The role requires an associate’s degree or equivalent manufacturing experience, strong planning and leadership skills, and the ability to supervise 30–100 staff, with a focus on process discipline and continuous improvement.
Manages the production employee's functions in assigned work areas to assure support of all components of manufacturing required to meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. This is accomplished through the following duties and responsibilities.

Requires an associate’s degree from an accredited collage and a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing related field with experience managing groups or teams, as well as strong production planning skill sets. In the absence of an associate’s degree, this position requires a total of seven (7) to ten (10) years' experience in a manufacturing related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.
Directly supervises 30 - 100 employees in the Manufacturing department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
