Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Production Scheduler for the Jackson, MI plant. This on-site role focuses on planning and scheduling to meet customer deliveries while minimizing cost. You will coordinate with procurement, design engineering, operations, and FED Supply Chain teams to drive on-time performance.

Required: a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in supply chain with at least 1 year in production scheduling in manufacturing, plus ITAR compliance. Travel may be limited; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
• Two (2)+ years of experience in supply chain.
• One (1)+ year of experience in a production scheduling role in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• This position requires ITAR compliance; U.S. person status is required.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates within 50 miles of Jackson, MI will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes material requirements; plans and initiates schedules to support customer production schedule and plans; manages shop floor scheduling.
• Manages work orders to ensure manufacturing has sufficient work at all times; communicates on overtime requirements.
• Expedites orders for customers where possible; expedites shortages with buyers; communicates updates to customer service and supply chain program managers.
• Ensures work orders are current and not past due; monitors performance of scheduling activities.
• Liaison between operations and supply chain program managers to meet program milestones and support new product development.
