Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Production Scheduler to lead planning across multiple manufacturing lines, ensuring resources, materials, and priorities align to deliver high-quality products on time and at scale.

You will leverage data, APS and ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, engineering, sales, and quality teams to optimize production flow, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing planning and scheduling
• Strong expertise in APS tools and ERP systems (SAP highly desirable)
• Advanced analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules across multiple manufacturing lines
• Use APS and ERP systems to optimize scheduling and monitor execution
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, sales, and quality teams
• Adjust schedules in response to disruptions and changing priorities
• Track performance using KPIs for adherence and resource utilization
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma
• Mentor team members and share scheduling best practices
