Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Production Risk Manager to join the Risk Management team. The role focuses on insurance placement, advisement, contract review, and claims management for all productions, coordinating with global brokers and internal stakeholders across Legal, Health & Safety, Security and Post Production.

• 6+ years in budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting
• Experience as a producer, production manager, line producer or in production risk management
• Experience in entertainment agency, studio, or organization
• Knowledge of location-specific production guidelines and procedures
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication
• Efficient time management with internal, partner, and customer teams
• Experience handling confidential information

Responsibilities

• Interpret insurance policy provisions and advise on coverage terms
• Prepare underwriting submission information and renewal applications
• Evaluate quotes and negotiate coverage and pricing with brokers
• Review binders, policies, endorsements, and invoices for accuracy
• Review cast coverage to ensure full protection for productions
• Manage broker relationships to ensure service levels
• Collaborate with brokers to manage production risk and services
• Identify loss prevention and mitigation opportunities
• Review production contracts for locations, equipment, and contractors
