Job summary

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Production Risk Manager to join the Risk Management team. You will influence insurance placement, advisement, contract review and claims management for all productions, interfacing with brokers, underwriters and internal stakeholders globally.

You will analyze policies, prepare underwriting information, negotiate coverage, and monitor cast and production risk across projects, while exploring workflow improvements through new technologies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting experience.
• Experience in production risk management or related field.
• Experience with entertainment production environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage confidential information securely.

Responsibilities

• Interpret insurance policy provisions and advise on terms.
• Prepare information for underwriting submissions and renewals.
• Evaluate quotes and negotiate coverage with brokers.
• Review binders, policies, endorsements, invoices and audits.
• Monitor Cast coverage for ongoing productions.
• Manage broker relationships to ensure service levels.
• Collaborate to manage production risk and external services.
• Identify loss prevention opportunities and improvements.
• Review production contracts for locations and contractors.
• Communicate with production executives on insurance needs.
• Leverage emerging tech to optimize risk workflows.
• Excel in a small team supporting global slate.
