NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California seeks a Production Planning & Control professional to optimize production processes, manage work orders and material flow, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, logistics and project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of flight and ground hardware with high quality standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems Engineering with 6 years of related experience or Master's with 4 years.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, capacity analysis, and material flow.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings.
• Analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Manage MRP-driven supply, demand, and fulfillment planning; release work orders, requisitions, kits, and maintain part data.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to translate requirements into manufacturable plans.
• Review and level-load production schedules to optimize resources and throughput.
• Monitor material availability, resolve shortages, and ensure components are available at point-of-use.
• Analyze MRP/ERP output, troubleshoot exceptions, adjust lead times and order policies.
• Provide material status, WIP visibility, KPIs, and mitigation plans for schedule risks.
• Optimize workflows, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement via Lean/Six Sigma.
• Collaborate across functions to align priorities and maintain material flow.
