Amazon's Production Planning Team (PPT) in Tempe seeks a Senior Production Planning Analyst to lead labor planning initiatives across NACF. You will partner with FC leadership and central teams to implement centralized models and deliver data-driven action plans.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in tax, finance or related analytical field.
  • 3+ years writing SQL and creating BI reports (Tableau/Power BI).
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience defining requirements and deriving insights from data.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VBA).
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and making business recommendations.
  • 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience gathering requirements and building reports with BI tools.

Senior Production Planning Analyst, Production Planning, PPT

The Production Planning Team (PPT) needs leaders like you to deliver the future of labor planning for our North America Customer Fulfillment Network (NACF). Key Job Responsibilities
  • Work with FC and Manage Regional leadership processes

  • Leverage central teams (i.e. S&OP, Central Flow, Process Engineering) to drive process and operations execution improvements.
  • Use data and bias for action to work through ambiguity and deliver results.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree, or BS degree
  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
  • 5+ years of business or financial analysis experience
  • Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of data interpretation and analysis to influence stakeholders experience
  • Previous experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, QuickSight, Excel VBA)
  • Strong analytical and dive deep skills

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
