Job summary

Materials Planner at Cambro Manufacturing seeks a seasoned planner to translate sales forecasts into detailed production schedules. You will collaborate with the Plant Manager to balance loading, sequencing, and delivery commitments to meet customer requirements.

Key duties include maintaining lead times in ERP/MRP systems, releasing production orders, monitoring stock and WIP, and providing accurate capacity estimates for quoting and planning. APICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in production planning or similar with strong working knowledge of MRP planning systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule workflow for department operations according to established sequences and lead times.
• Maintain planning parameters and lead times in the ERP/MRP systems to supply accurate customer service data.
• Release production orders and analyze stock levels and forecast to meet demand.
• Provide estimated booked capacity for accurate quoting of customer lead times.
