Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Planner to optimize manufacturing flow from planning through finished goods. You will release work orders, build production schedules, and coordinate with Operations to meet customer demands while maintaining accurate ERP data.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration and at least five years in scheduling and production planning; experience with ERP systems and continuous improvement is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and minimum of five (5) years of scheduling and production planning experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and release work orders to Operations. Upon completion of work orders, ensure timely final processing and closure of work orders.
• Create and maintain production schedules. Solve scheduling conflicts and issues. Ensure labor and equipment availability. Communicate schedule changes to affected team members. Conduct regular production meetings with key stakeholders.
• Maintain adequate inventory of subassemblies to support production activities. Ensure ERP information is accurate and adjust as demands change.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels are established for manufactured products.
• Plan and develop workflows for new products and product changes. Incorporate product changes into production BOMs and coordinate inventory levels while minimizing scrap and excess production.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
