Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes in Beloit, Wisconsin, seeks a skilled engineer/technician to safely operate accelerators and related systems within a cGMP environment.

You will lead maintenance, testing, and production workflows, develop and implement SOPs, and troubleshoot complex equipment to ensure patient-safe radiopharmaceuticals.

The role requires an Associate or Technical Degree in a STEM discipline with 6+ years in regulated settings; a Bachelor's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical Degree in STEM with six years in a highly regulated environment, cGMP preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Experience with electronics, test equipment, and/or mechanical systems is required. Advanced troubleshooting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates accelerators and associated systems in a regulated environment.
• Provide support for operational and testing activities of the accelerator.
• Lead development of production documents (SOPs, work instructions, forms, logs).
• Lead engineering design and validation testing.
• Lead a team in advanced troubleshooting of accelerator control systems and vacuum systems.
• Coordinate with accelerator support departments to maintain readiness.
