Job summary

Venanpri Group is seeking an experienced Supply Chain/Operations leader to analyze demand against capacity and develop production plans for seasonal needs. You will coordinate schedules, manage MRP/MPS, and collaborate with purchasing to ensure material availability while maintaining strict inventory control.

The role requires extensive knowledge of ocean freight, imports/exports, and US customs, with a focus on cross-border operations with Mexico and Canada.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Operations, Transportation Management or Logistics preferred.
• 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or operations management.
• Analytical, problem-solving mindset with vendor negotiation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Ocean Freight and Import/Export processes.
• Experience with cross-border operations from Mexico and Canada.
• Strong U.S. Customs knowledge, HTS classifications.
• Strong data analytics skills using Power BI and Excel.
• Experience with domestic freight processes and overall logistics.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication; customer interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand and orders against capacity to determine production plan needs.
• Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments and create/monitor shop orders.
• Review MRP/MPS/capacity to determine staffing, material requirements or priorities.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve delays and ensure material availability.
• Maintain inventory records, WIP, and BOM accuracy; dual controls for receipts.
• Revise production schedules due to changes, shortages, or maintenance.
• Work with internal teams to resolve shipping/import/export issues and compliance.
• Locate and evaluate vendors for materials if needed.
