Stellant Systems, Inc. in Melville, NY is seeking a Senior Production Planner to optimize manufacturing schedules and manage material flow. The role requires MRP-driven planning, expediting, and coordination with PM, Production, Test, and Quality to ensure on-time delivery of equipment to customers.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Business with 6+ years in planning or a Master’s with 4 years of related experience, plus RF and ERP/MRP proficiency. This is an onsite, full-time position in Melville.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business with 6+ years prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 4 years prior relevant experience or equivalent
• 6+ years planning/production control experience in an electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing facility required
• RF experience required
• 6+ years ERP/MRP experience
• Strong knowledge of work schedules, BOM and receiving reports
• Familiar with tools, equipment and nomenclature of parts used in electro-mechanical manufacturing
• Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsabilités

• Plan and determine the most efficient method of achieving program objectives within the framework of technical capabilities.
• Create manufacturing order schedule and purchase requisitions for assigned projects using MRP.
• Track and monitor purchased material for assigned projects.
• Identify critical parts and critical path assemblies to the scheduled delivery dates.
• Execute plan and control programs through manufacturing and test to ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers.
• Perform complex expediting and record keeping functions with current information on the location and progress of manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Release kits to production floor with proper travelers, operation sheets and documentation.
• Host meetings on status of programs regarding schedule with PM, Production, Test, and Quality.
• Report and resolve any problems or difficulties impacting the on-time delivery of jobs.
• Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Compile and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in process production reports and status and location of materials.
• Move or transport material from one department to another.
