Job summary

Mural-Group is seeking senior production operators for a facility in Holden, MA. The role focuses on operating blending and extrusion processes, performing SAP transactions, and ensuring batches meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in plastics/chemical manufacturing, are forklift-certified, and can train others. The position requires overnight 3rd shift Sunday–Thursday and working in a PPE-intensive environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics/chemical manufacturing.
• SAP experience required; must complete all production transactions independently.
• Active forklift certification.
• Qualified across blending and extrusion operational areas.
• Experience training other employees on production processes.
• Available for 3rd shift overnight (Sun–Thu, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM).
• Comfortable in a chemical/industrial environment with full PPE; able to lift 55 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blending and extrusion machinery across all production areas.
• Weigh ingredients to recipe specifications; monitor production and troubleshoot overnight.
• Complete SAP production transactions throughout the shift.
• Take samples to quality control and bring batches into specification.
• Train new and returning employees on production processes.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork during overnight operations.
• Complete documentation including production logs and batch records.
• Adhere to ISO, EHS, and safety rules; maintain housekeeping standards.
