Job summary

Alpitronic is seeking a hands-on assembler to perform assembly, testing and repair tasks at multiple workstations in accordance with work instructions. You will also input all completed activities into the Lifecycle database and ensure the line runs smoothly with proper handovers.

The role requires basic computer skills, familiarity with MS Office, and a willingness to train new staff while following KAIZEN principles for continuous improvement and safe, clean production areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required or equivalent.
• Vocational training in a specialized trade is desirable.
• Experience in an industrial environment is desirable.
• Professional experience in assembly / Electronic Component Inspection is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Knowledge of standard software is beneficial.
• Experience using MS Office programs (Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of the Kaizen method is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute assembly, testing, or repair activities at various workstations per work instructions (APT).
• Enter completed assembly activities into the Lifecycle database system.
• Set up the workstation and correct faults autonomously.
• Communicate anomalies and quality deficiencies to SQO/SV.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees.

Job Summary:

Execution of assembly activities in accordance with work instructions and supervisor specifications. Contributes to ensuring an efficient operational flow in the production area, supporting safety, process quality and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Operational Activities

• Independent execution of assembly, testing or repair activities at various workstations in accordance with work instructions (APT instructions).
• Independent entry of completed assembly activities in the Lifecycle database system.
• Autonomously set up the workstation and correct faults.
• Autonomous communication to SQO/SV in case of anomalies, quality deficiencies and possible occupational safety risks.
• Support (Junior) Operators and the onboarding and training of new employees.
• Responsibility for a smooth shift handover through a complete and structured information flow in the absence of the SQO.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure accident prevention and correct use of equipment by reporting any anomalies to SQO/SV.
• Train staff on the use of equipment and tools and record training in the training register.
• Ensure order and cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles.
• Autonomous management of tickets for Quality, TPM, IT and Facility Management.

Continuous Improvement & Process Development

• Collaborate on the introduction of new processes, products and changes in the production area.
• Promote continuous improvement of the area of competence following the KAIZEN philosophy.
• Collaboration to maintain order and cleanliness of the work area.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.
