Job summary

Sonny's Enterprises is seeking a seasoned Production/Plant Manager to lead all production operations at our Mentor, OH facility. You will drive safety, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery while developing weekly/daily plans and leading cross-functional teams.

The role requires 7+ years of manufacturing leadership, 5+ years supervising, and a track record in regulated or chemical environments. Bachelor's degree preferred; SAP or similar ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing of company products.
• Develop and execute weekly and daily production plans to meet customer demand, inventory targets, and service level expectations.
• Lead production activities to maximize throughput and operational effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, waste reduction, and cost control.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure production performance targets are met.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Logistics teams to optimize production schedules and plant performance.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing, training, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Manage departmental budgets and control operating expenses through resource management.
