Job summary

Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp. in Coppell, TX is hiring a Production Mechanic II to perform preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment. Shift options include 1st: 6:00 am–3:00 pm and 2nd: 3:00 pm–12:00 am, with possible overtime.

You will troubleshoot and repair a wide range of machinery, install new lines, and ensure safety compliance including LOTOTO. Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• 2 years of electrical experience in troubleshooting and programming of PLCs, knowledge of electrical controls, VFDs, servos, HMIs, and reading electrical prints.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs industrial production and processing machinery.
• Repairs, installs, and adjusts industrial machinery such as unscramblers, fillers, cappers, labelers, bundlers, heat tunnels, pulverizers, blenders, powder presses, conveyors, lasers, ink printers, labelers, cartoners and other production equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs pneumatic switches, valves, and cylinders.
• Assists in the diagnosis and repair of gear boxes, bearings, and conveyor system problems.
• Optimizes line layout to reduce labor and increase line output.
• Engineering ergonomic workstations to reduce potential for employee repetitive motion injury.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance.
• Installs and connects air, electrical, and required energy sources for new production line installation and relocation.
• Responds to work order requests in a timely fashion.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures including LOTOTO and related safety practices.
• Sets up, diagnoses, and repairs high speed filling machines.
• Troubleshoots electrical (relay logic PLCs), general building electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
