Job summary

Nufarm – Crop Protection in the United States is seeking a Production Manager to lead formulation and packaging operations at the Chicago Heights facility. You will guide cross‑functional teams across shifts, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and mentor engineers and production staff while partnering with HSE, Engineering, Maintenance, QA, and supply chain colleagues.

You will champion process safety, manage staffing and training, and pursue lean initiatives to improve OEE and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• 7+ years line management in manufacturing or industrial ops.
• Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of safety systems and SOP/LOTO practices.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs, data-driven decisions, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation and packaging teams across all shifts.
• Drive production schedule execution and safety culture.
• Coach engineers and supervisors; develop staff across teams.
• Manage SOPs, LOTO, permits, and critical safety programs.
• Lead process improvements with cross-functional partners.
• Monitor OEE, schedule attainment, quality and yield.
• Oversee budgeting and resource planning for the department.
