Job summary

Global Search Network seeks a Plant Operations Supervisor to run a 24-hour production facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. You will coordinate with scheduling, maintenance, shipping, and quality teams, and drive the implementation of HACCP and quality systems across the plant.

You will also manage the ERP/M3 production side, establish action plans to meet budgets and regulatory requirements, and train staff while maintaining a positive workplace climate and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Operations, or Engineering)
• At least 5 years in Plant/Production Supervisory roles; union experience a plus; food industry preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and AS/400; familiarity with PLC and plant-automation software

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 24-hour plant operations to ensure safe, efficient and profitable production
• Coordinate production plans with scheduling, maintenance, shipping, and quality departments
• Implement HACCP and quality systems across the operation
• Manage ERP/M3 production side; monitor budgets and regulatory compliance
• Train and develop staff (hourly and salaried) and maintain a positive employee relations climate
• Lead process improvements, productivity goals, and manufacturing KPIs
