Job summary

Our client, a contract manufacturer of electromechanical assemblies, seeks a Production Manager to direct production and maintenance, drive efficiency, and uphold quality while controlling costs across Montello and Wautoma, WI. With ~100 employees, you’ll shape schedules, foster teamwork, and implement lean practices for sustained performance.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, familiarity with SYSPRO, and a BS in Operations Management or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing with an operations leadership role.
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S.
• Knowledge of production scheduling systems (SYSPRO preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• BS in Operations Management or equivalent experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production and maintenance across two Wisconsin locations (Montello and Wautoma).
• Drive production performance while meeting quality and cost objectives.
• Lead lean initiatives to minimize costs and errors and improve throughput.
• Report to the president and influence strategic decisions and workforce culture.
