Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Production Finance team in Stamford, CT. The role covers budgeting, tracking, and analysis of NBC Sports programs, with collaboration across FP&A, Controllership, and Program Finance.

You will manage budgets, posting expenses, and providing financial insights to leadership. Hybrid schedule with in-office four days per week is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 3+ years of finance, accounting, or business analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and functions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in Production Budget processes: In-depth preparation of budgets for upcoming season.
• Attend budget meetings, manage follow-up, work with Scheduling to manage staffing budgets.
• Own accounts payable responsibilities for assigned sports: code invoices, coordinate approvals.
• Monthly closing: ownership of assigned monthly closing processes, variance analysis, post-close reporting.
