Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) invites a Senior Production Engineer to support NAVSEA from our Washington, DC office. You will drive production engineering for Surface Navy weapons and collaborate across government-led programs.

The role demands a DoD TOP SECRET clearance, 10+ years in complex engineering, and experience in requirements analysis, risk management, and obsolescence management. SPA offers a robust total compensation package and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in detailed engineering activities for Surface Navy Weapons Systems.
• Experience with requirements analysis, requirements generation, and technical reviews.
• Experience with production engineering, risk management, and obsolescence management.
• Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance and ability to maintain it during employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, field, and sustain operationally superior weapons systems and provide full spectrum production engineering support.
• Oversee Government-led production management efforts and coordinate new ship construction requirements.
• Evaluate obsolescence and impact of Engineering Change Proposals on new ship construction.
• Provide production recommendations to program stakeholders across Surface Navy weapons systems.
