Job summary

Electrolux Professional Group is seeking a Production Engineer III in Michigan to translate technical proposal packages into shop drawings, BOMs, electrical and plumbing schematics, and related materials for final assembly.

You will provide design support for manufacturing, purchasing, quality control, and field issues, ensure compliance with safety and agency requirements, and assist in developing improved engineering procedures.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering with 5+ years related experience or A.A. with 8+ years related experience or Equivalent experience as a Designer (10+ years).
Experience with sheet metal design and assembly practices is preferred.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and sales orders; strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

Translate technical proposals into shop packages including final assembly drawings, unit drawings, part drawings, materials, electrical and plumbing schematics.
Provide design support and analysis for manufacturing, purchasing, quality control and field issues.
Ensure designs are reviewed for safety considerations and agency requirements.
Assist in developing and improving engineering procedures.
Perform additional assignments and duties as assigned by supervisor.
