Salt Productions in Los Angeles is seeking a Sr. Production Director who owns the full lifecycle of high-profile projects and a defined client portfolio.

You operate independently, guide strategy, and lead a team across production functions while maintaining client relationships and program quality. You will oversee budgets, mentor Production Directors and producers, and collaborate with directors and creative teams to ensure the project vision aligns with client and brand expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ Years of experience.
• Hands on experience managing budgets over $5,000,000 and budgets over $10,000,000 is a plus.
• Confident proposing next steps and leading a team from strategy to execution.
• Well-rounded experience in event production facets (Logistics, Graphics, A/V, etc).
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and developing talent at producer/director level.
• Understanding of experiential business and ability to forecast fires in advance.
• Comfort managing day-to-day client relationships.
• Integrity, transparency, accountability, and leadership by example.
• Experience with large-scale events and multi-market activations.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead production teams to deliver creative, results-driven events.
• Oversees the entire project planning process with goals, timelines, and strategies.
• Manage budgets, approve major expenses, and adjust financial plans.
• Supervise cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts.
• Lead, mentor, and support Production Directors and producers.
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic updates on complex issues.
• Collaborate with directors and creative teams to align project vision with brand expectations.
• Support team resourcing, kicks-offs, client calls, and new project needs.
• Define Roles & Responsibilities and oversee risk management.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
