Job summary

Whale Song, a digital product studio backed by Golden Section, seeks a senior product leader for client engagements in the US. You will steer discovery, define strategy, own scoping, and drive delivery across B2B SaaS and custom software projects.

You’ll collaborate with executives and engineers, manage backlogs, and mentor junior team members while balancing strategic advisory work with hands-on PM execution. Remote, contract role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, strategy, or business analysis in client-facing/consulting environments.
• Experience across B2B SaaS, custom software, or enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery to define problems, goals, constraints, and success criteria.
• Translate needs into clear product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements.
• Own scoping calls end-to-end: structure conversations and identify risks.
• Step into hands-on PM ownership: manage backlogs, sprints, and delivery accountability.
• Act as trusted advisor to stakeholders with proactive communication across engagements.
• Support pre-sales solutioning and contribute to methodology refinement.
