Job summary

Celanese in the United States seeks a Business Line Product Steward (Advanced Chemist - Product Stewardship) to serve as the primary regulatory expert for assigned business lines across the product lifecycle.

You will partner with business, Technology & Innovation, manufacturing, legal, and quality to ensure products are developed, manufactured, marketed, and sold in compliance with global regulations and company policies, while supporting new product development, productivity projects, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs, EHS, Product Safety, or related field.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and enterprise compliance platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Product Stewardship contact for assigned business lines.
• Provide timely regulatory guidance to technical, business, and commercial teams.
• Develop understanding of business line products, applications, customers, markets and strategic objectives.
• Maintain product technical expertise to engage with technical teams.
• Partner with Product Stewardship teams to evaluate regulatory requirements and trends.
• Support SAP maintenance and correction of compositional data.
• Lead Project Risk Management projects with T&I and other functions.
