Are you an experienced and technical laboratory sales professional who enjoys helping customers achieve their clinical, operational, and financial goals? If yes, then this is the role for you! As a Senior Product Specialist-Specialty Diagnostics, you will be responsible for selling diagnostic capital equipment and consumables to healthcare partners. You will partner with our Fisher Healthcare sales team and customers, driving revenue growth within a defined territory for our innovative Specialty Diagnostics portfolio. This role emphasizes finding new business opportunities and expanding current customer testing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver an outstanding customer experience by supporting laboratory goals.
  2. Support multiple sales representatives with technical information, product recommendations, and support.
  3. Prospect new customers and grow existing customer accounts.
  4. Execute the sales cycle ethically and persuasively to drive results.
  5. Develop and implement sales strategies using CRM tools like Salesforce.
  6. Stay informed about new products and market trends in clinical chemistry, immunoassay, and microbiology.
  7. Make independent decisions to meet customer needs using available resources.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent Thermo Fisher professionally.
  9. Conduct business reviews with the team or independently.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  1. At least 2 years of healthcare sales, medical device, or capital equipment sales experience; 3+ years preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in sciences; M.S. preferred.
  3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  4. Experience presenting complex information verbally and in writing.
  5. Proven sales performance track record.
  6. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  7. Demonstrate values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
