HOW YOU WILL ADD VALUE

As a Senior Product Specialist – Retail Channel (Canvas) you will be responsible for sales growth within the Southeast Division. This will be achieved through:

• Raising assets within your territory.
• Demonstrating subject matter expertise and working collaboratively across the OSAM and Franklin Templeton organizations.
• Partnering with the Franklin Templeton generalist sales team to sell to Wirehouse, Independent, Bank and Regional financial advisors.
• Being an expert on direct indexing and custom indexing.
• Effectively collaborating with other members of the OSAM Client Service, Portfolio Management, Operations, Tech and Relationship Management teams.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• Experience 10+ years of asset management distribution or specialist experience.
• 3+ years of experience with direct indexing exhibiting a deep understanding of it along with the competitive landscape.
• Demonstrated success selling to financial advisors.
• Experience with separately managed accounts (SMAs).

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION

This is a virtual role that can be based out of preferably any major city within the Southeast (Atlanta, Florida major cities, etc.). Travel expectations of 50-75%.

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $160,000 – $200,000 depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
