Job Description

As a Senior Product Solutions Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of product strategy, client solutions, and risk evaluation. You'll lead cross-functional teams to assess large-scale opportunities, balance client needs with operational realities, and ensure Empower delivers profitable, innovative retirement plan solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale business evaluations by reviewing RFPs, plan documents, and sales inputs to ensure alignment with segmentation strategy
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with technical experts to assess client exceptions, balancing innovation with operational feasibility
  • Guide decision-making for cost, risk, and investment trade-offs, presenting clear recommendations to the Business Acceptance Committee
  • Facilitate key underwriting and repricing meetings, ensuring decisions are documented, communicated, and tracked for accountability
  • Partner with segment leaders on product development, annual planning, and trend analysis to inform strategy and future offerings
  • Safeguard business alignment by monitoring new and repriced business against segmentation criteria, pricing models, and revenue expectations
  • Escalate and resolve issues quickly, bringing together cross-functional teams to assess impacts of business changes
  • Champion best practices while defining and managing approved business exceptions for clients and prospects
  • Build and deliver insightful reporting on performance, exceptions, and process improvements, including monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Lead post-implementation reviews of new and repriced business, recommending enhancements to process, roles, and responsibilities
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in the retirement industry
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • Deep expertise in qualified and nonqualified defined contribution plans

Base Salary Range: $111,800.00 - $162,125.00
