Job summary

Google is seeking a senior engineer for gTech Users and Products to partner with external teams on robotics solutions using Gemini ER, Gemini VLA, and Gemini/Gemma LLM models. You will guide API integration, model customization, and architecture while creating demos and simulations.

Ideal candidates have deep experience in web tech, multiple programming languages, and cloud skills, enabling strong technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Mountain View/Sunnyvale location preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP).
• 6 years of experience coding in one or more languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 technical consultation and brainstorming with partners for robotics solutions using Gemini ER/ Gemini VLA/ Gemini/Gemma LLM models.
• Provide expert guidance on API integration, model customization, prompt engineering, and solution architecture for Robotics projects.
• Create simulations for robotics models in AI Studio and demos to showcase capabilities.
• Gather, synthesize, relay partner feedback, use cases, and requirements to Google product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers/Engineers and Global Partnerships to ensure a cohesive partner experience.

Minimum qualifications

• Experience using Machine Learning and building solutions.
• Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).
