Job summary

Boeing is looking for a cybersecurity systems engineer to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and security solutions for national security programs.

The role requires DoD 8570 IAT II, an active TS/SCI clearance, 9+ years of related engineering experience, and DevSecOps/CI/CD expertise; travel up to 25% for customer meetings, site visits and program reviews.

Qualifications

• 9+ years related work experience with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field is required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required pre-start.
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education; ABET accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluate customer/operational needs to define performance requirements and interfaces.
• Perform analyses to optimize system architecture and security.
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues and coordinates with security teams.
• Lead risk, accreditation, and technology readiness assessment activities.
