Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Principal Product Security Architect for an on-site role in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on embedding secure-by-design principles across Masimo's software platforms and partnering with software, algorithm, quality, regulatory, and product teams to minimize cybersecurity risk while preserving velocity.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software architecture, cybersecurity engineering, or product security in complex environments.
• Deep expertise in secure software design and application security.
• Experience embedding cybersecurity into the full SDLC across multiple platforms.
• Ability to influence architecture strategy through technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive secure architecture strategies across cloud, desktop, mobile, and embedded platforms.
• Embed secure-by-design principles into engineering processes (threat modeling, architecture reviews, risk assessments).
• Partner with software leaders to integrate cybersecurity into CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.
• Establish scalable product security standards, reference architectures, and engineering guidelines.
• Mentor teams on secure development practices and emerging cybersecurity trends.
