Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Reliability Engineer in Rolling Meadows, IL to support avionic mission systems. You will work as an individual contributor and lead deliverables within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, performing requirements synthesis, system analysis and interface management.

The position may be filled at Principal or Sr. Principal level. Candidates must be US Citizens and able to obtain a Secret clearance. On-site work in Rolling Meadows is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a STEM degree with required experience as specified (BS/MS/PhD options).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in reliability, maintainability, testability, system safety, or human factors disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as an individual and lead deliverables within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support development and verification/validation of product support elements.
• Perform systems engineering functions including requirements synthesis and flow-down, trades, and budget/interface management.
• Present the supportability approach at design reviews.
