Job summary

Quanex in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Sr. Product Regulatory & Compliance Engineer to lead regulatory initiatives for windows and doors across North America. You will translate standards into engineering requirements and collaborate with Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing and external bodies.

You will participate in industry associations, influence standards, support new product development, and ensure timely compliance across codes such as FGIA, ASTM, NFRC, UL, ISO, and ICC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years in regulatory compliance or product engineering in fenestration or building products.
• Familiarity with international standards and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead standards and regulatory initiatives for product management and engineering.
• Translate standards into actionable product requirements and documentation.
• Support industry associations and committees to advance Quanex goals.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate requirements internally.
• Ensure products comply with building codes and industry standards (FGIA/AAMA, ASTM, NFRC, UL, CSA, ISO, ICC).
