Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Consulting Manager - Senior Product Owner to guide product strategy, roadmaps, and execution for transfer agency and fixed income processing platforms. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across regulated capital markets environments.

The role emphasizes backlog prioritization, agile planning, API-enabled integration, and governance within a hybrid work model across New York, New Jersey, and Minneapolis areas.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in financial technology or capital markets environments.
• Minimum 5 years of Agile Product Ownership or equivalent leadership.
• Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, and prioritizing among stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of transfer agency operations and shareholder recordkeeping.
• Experience with fixed income processing, corporate actions, and workflows.
• Experience with API-enabled platforms and cloud-hosted SaaS solutions.
• Strong Agile product management, release, and stakeholder management.
• Experience in highly regulated environments.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for transfer agency and fixed income processing.
• Partner with executives, clients, and technology leaders to set priorities.
• Represent customer and business voice while balancing strategic, operational, and delivery goals.
• Own backlog across transfer agency, shareholder servicing, ownership changes, income distribution, and fixed income processing.
• Lead product strategy for cloud-hosted SaaS and digital services.
• Drive API-enabled platform evolution and enterprise integration.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, compliance, and DevSecOps teams.
• Facilitate Agile planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness.
• Apply securities servicing and capital markets expertise to strategy and execution.
