Job summary

PETADATA is hiring a Senior Product Owner for a client. This remote role demands 15+ years in product management/ownership or business analysis, with strong agile experience and backlog leadership.

You will translate business needs into epics, lead cross-functional teams, and own the end-to-end lifecycle from concept to optimization, ensuring strategic alignment with security and architecture standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks.
• Proven expertise in Product Backlog Management, User Story Mapping, and Requirement Prioritization.
• Experience with enterprise-scale applications, digital products, or SaaS platforms.
• Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with data-driven product development and product analytics tools.
• Knowledge of API integrations, microservices architecture, and cloud-based platforms is preferred.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with goals and market opportunities.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with value, needs, and feasibility.
• Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile teams.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, developers, QA, UX/UI designers, and architects for delivery.
• Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through post-launch optimization.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback, product analytics, and market insights to improve features.
