Orion180 is seeking a Product Owner to join our Innovation & Technology team. You will own a value stream, translate business requirements into well-defined user stories, and ensure backlog clarity, acceptance, and quality.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, Tech Leads, and delivery pods to drive high-quality execution with Scrum practices and a hybrid delivery approach. The role reports to the Value Stream Owner, with a focus on compliance, financial calculations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance industry or software product experience.
• Strong analytical skills to dig into business processes and produce precise requirements.
• Excellent written documentation skills to produce clear user stories and business requirements documents.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders, clarify priorities, and gain alignment across business and technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar agile tools for backlog management.
• Familiarity with insurance operations, products, or technology is strongly preferred.
• CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe Product Owner certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Requirements Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders to capture detailed requirements and understand context, compliance implications, and user impact.
• Story Writing: Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories with testable acceptance criteria.
• Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the team backlog in Azure DevOps with well-defined, sequenced stories.
• Technical Collaboration: Partner with Tech Leads to confirm technical completeness and flag architecture implications.
• Acceptance & Validation: Accept completed work against acceptance criteria and conduct Level 3 UAT for external-facing features and compliance changes.
• Compliance Tracking: Track regulatory deadlines and build timelines backward from hard deadlines.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide progress updates, sprint demos, and release communications.
• Continuous Improvement: Pursue Product Owner certification and attend training to sharpen skills.
