System One seeks a Senior GenAI & Data Engineer to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions in a large-scale financial services setting. The role blends hands-on Generative AI/LLM work with data engineering, Python, and AWS cloud expertise, with an onsite expectation in Reston, VA and a hybrid work model.

You will build AI agents, RAG solutions, scalable data pipelines, and cloud-native workloads on AWS services including Bedrock, Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions, connecting enterprise systems

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including development of AI agents and enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and working with Amazon Bedrock.
• Advanced Python and PySpark skills for data processing, analytics, automation, and AI application development.
• Strong data engineering expertise, including developing data pipelines, data models, and processing large-scale data.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and AWS Step Functions.
• Proficiency in developing cloud-native solutions using serverless, containerized, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with REST API development and system integration for connecting applications and data platforms.
• Ability to interpret business needs into practical technical solutions and implement effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively with technical and business teams.
• Financial services or other highly regulated enterprise experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Overview
System One is seeking a Senior GenAI & Data Engineer to develop and integrate AI-enabled solutions within a large-scale financial services environment. This role combines hands‑on Generative AI and LLM development with strong data engineering, Python, and AWS cloud expertise.
This position has an onsite expectation of 3–5 days per week in Reston, VA with local candidates preferred.
