Job summary

Simplesense is seeking a Senior Product Owner, Data Insights to translate strategic vision into actionable engineering plans and oversee end-to-end delivery for the Insights capability. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery excellence and alignment with complex DoD contract commitments.

Required 5–10 years in product ownership or technical product management, with Agile delivery experience, and US citizenship capable of obtaining DoD CAC/Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Product Owner / Technical Product Manager roles.
• Proven delivery leadership in data/SaaS/enterprise software.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and actionable stories.
• Experience managing execution plans autonomously.
• Willingness to travel quarterly for team syncs and PMRs.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD NIPR CAC and DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic vision for actionable intelligence and operational efficiency into detailed engineering plans (epics, user stories, tasks).
• Oversee end-to-end delivery lifecycle for the Insights capability with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure tactical execution remains aligned with mission complexity and contractual commitments.
• Mentor teammates and improve delivery processes; ensure quality gate and acceptance criteria.
