Job summary

Guardian Life Insurance is seeking a Senior Product Owner, Benefits Technology (BenTech) to lead strategy, development, and delivery of integrations across the Group Benefits ecosystem. You will partner with business and technology leaders to define priorities, drive execution, and enhance connectivity with BenAdmin platforms, carriers, and partners.

You will translate business objectives into prioritized work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor a small tech team to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7+ years in Benefits Technology, Group Benefits, or related domain.
• Experience building and managing product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of carrier integrations, BenAdmin platforms, and data exchange technologies.
• Experience implementing or supporting LIMRA LDEx standards and/or other data exchange protocols.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders, product managers, and tech teams to deliver digital products.
• Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.
• Strong understanding of business process improvement and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BenTech product strategy, translating aims into prioritized backlogs and stories.
• Design and deliver best-in-class integrations for Plan Admin, Eligibility, EOI, LOA, Rating & Quoting, and more.
• Oversee LIMRA LDEx standards and data exchange protocols for scalable, compliant integrations.
• Partner with Product Managers, stakeholders, tech leads, developers, and QA to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Manage and mentor a small team of developers and testers; drive release readiness and GTM execution.
