Job summary

Nextpower LLC in California is seeking a Staff Product Operations Manager to build and operate governance around product strategy, roadmaps, and portfolio decision-making across a multi-product R&D organization. This role partners with Product Management, R&D Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and Finance to create a scalable approach for prioritization and tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred but not required.
• 12+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations or related functions.
• Experience in global complex product-development environments; hardware/industrial tech/engineering-intensive industries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with product roadmaps, portfolio prioritization, business cases, and executive governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to create governance around product strategies, value propositions, target markets, and strategic objectives.
• Integrate product strategies and roadmaps into a consolidated enterprise product portfolio view.
• Develop executive-level views of priorities, roadmap changes, portfolio performance, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
