Guidewire Software seeks a Product Operations Manager to own the operational rhythms of the Applications portfolio. You’ll serve as the execution partner to the Director, Product Strategy & Operations, handling planning rituals, reporting, tooling, and process improvements to keep leaders focused on strategy.

You will drive governance cadences, maintain SDLC/GPR evidence, and surface risks early while enabling AI-fluency across the operating model for sustained market leadership.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in product operations or a similar role in enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Strong operational discipline and program-management skills.
• Experience applying AI to operational work and familiarity with Agentic SDLC.
• Analytical fluency with reporting and dashboards.
• Proficiency with planning/tracking tools like Aha!, Jira, Confluence.
• Excellent communication across product, engineering, design, and GTM.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Product Operations is the discipline that keeps our Applications product organization aligned, informed, and moving. As Product Operations Manager, you own the operational rhythms of the Applications portfolio and serve as the execution partner to the Director, Product Strategy & Operations. You own the mechanics of planning rituals, reporting, tooling, and process so leaders can focus on product strategy rather than logistics.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Own operations for a product domain. Manage the recurring operational rhythms of Core Applications end to end — reporting, release support, documentation, onboarding, planning coordination, and tooling administration.
• Run the governance rituals. Operate the mechanics of the portfolio cadences — the Monthly Executive Portfolio Review, Biweekly Capability Review, and Quarterly Vision Council — including scheduling, pre-reads, decision logs, action tracking, and follow-through.
• Keep the release cadence reliable. Maintain backlog hygiene, portfolio reporting, and SDLC/GPR governance evidence so roadmap status and commitments stay accurate, and Core Applications ships a steady rhythm of updates that sustains market leadership and customer satisfaction.
• Turn signals into insight. Create and manage domain product-health dashboards and analyze feedback to surface risks early, highlight variances, and recommend corrective action.
• Improve how the domain operates. Drive continuous process improvement across operational workflows, and support PM enablement and AI-fluency logistics as the operating model evolves.

Required

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years in product operations, program/project management, PMO, or a comparable operational role, ideally in an enterprise B2B SaaS or product organization.
• Strong operational discipline and program-management skills — you build order out of many moving parts and reliably drive work to closure.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI to operational work and familiarity with Agentic SDLC.
• Analytical fluency with reporting and dashboards, and the judgment to connect operational data to outcomes.
• Proficiency with planning and tracking tools (e.g., Aha!, Jira, Confluence) and comfort administering and improving them.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market partners.
• The ability to work with growing independence, manage competing priorities, and surface risks proactively.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience supporting portfolio governance, planning cadences, or leadership operating rhythms.
• Exposure to P&C insurance or another highly regulated, enterprise software domain.
• Product Management experience in a SaaS organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $148,000 - $254,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
