BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a Principal Program Manager for Product Operations to own the DBA product operating model from idea to launch and retrospective.

You will manage the release calendar, milestone reviews, and incubate new products with cross-functional teams including engineering, Product Marketing, Support, Customer Success, and Sales enablement. The role requires coordinating with global teams, balancing on-premises and SaaS product lines, and reporting metrics at QPRs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or product management in a B2B software company.
• Excellent written communication, including executive-ready materials.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and overlapping with Israel time zones.

Responsabilités

• Own the release calendar for each Control-M product line and manage milestones and planning artifacts.
• Coordinate launch readiness across engineering, Product Marketing, Support, and Sales enablement; lead post-release retrospectives.
• Lead quarterly planning reviews, prepare agendas, inputs, and status reporting; maintain a decision log in Aha!.
• Run idea triage weekly, ensure each idea documents customer problem, account links, and relevant themes/capabilities.
• Build a feedback channel aggregating ideas, escalations, and NPS verbal feedback; publish regular updates to the field.
• Own Aha! as the system of record for the DBA product organization, including configurations and Jira integration.
