RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understanding the User Journey Experience
  • Use insights from customer interviews, call reviews, and frontline feedback to refine and evolve our ICP-specific narratives.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between product and go-to-market teams, particularly focused on aligning outbound efforts.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure unified messaging, sales readiness, and product feedback loops.
  • GTM Execution
  • Own and drive GTM and release plans, ensuring cross-functional execution across Product, Marketing, Sales, and CX.
  • Align with GTM team to anticipate customer and channel friction points and deliver effective enablement/training.
  • Break down complex projects or campaigns into manageable, actionable components in a trackable format.
  • Drive initiatives toward measurable outcomes that reflect strategic objectives.
  • Navigate decision-making by evaluating multiple variables, potential outcomes, and stakeholder perspectives.
  • Balance the needs of multiple stakeholders with foresight and diplomacy.
  • Foster positive relationships while delivering outcomes that align with organizational priorities.
  • Product Fluency
  • Coordinate with Product Managers to obtain key information about upcoming feature releases.
  • Tailor messaging for key features and workflows across priority verticals.
  • Develop and maintain positioning for new and existing products that clearly communicate value, differentiation, and customer impact.
  • Evaluate and aid the team in decisions about pricing and packaging.
  • Data-Driven Mentality
  • Distribute and socialize market and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify trends, risks, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Apply both quantitative and qualitative data to enhance customer and business outcomes.
  • Incorporate research and analysis to continuously refine and improve execution.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and reporting that inform current performance and progress toward goals including revenue and feature adoption.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Product Marketing Acumen
  • 5 to 9 years experience in B2B product marketing, marketing communications, technical writing.
  • MarTech & SaaS experience is a bonus.
  • Curious, confident, collaborative and proactive.
  • Analytical Thinking
  • Ability to distill complex data and customer feedback into clear insights that inform messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Executional Excellence
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to hold cross-functional teams accountable in a trackable format using project management platforms like Asana.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight from leadership at times, and hit deadlines and goals consistently.
  • Experience working with sales, client services, Product Management, developers, and go-to-market teams.
  • Communication
  • Ability to understand and articulate product value.
  • Strong writing skills. Compelling narrator of positive customer outcomes delivered via platform enhancements large and small.
  • Excellent oral communication skills including the ability to effectively convey information to a wide variety of internal and external audiences, live or offline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Experience
  • Experience in marketing automation, sales engagement, or communication tools (e.g., Intercom, Braze, Outreach, CRM platforms).
  • Experience in Martech or adtech and familiarity with the types of problems these tools solve.
  • Start-Up or Scaling Company
  • Experience at growth-stage companies (75-500 employees) or both startup and large company experience.
  • Ideal if the candidate has experience in both small and large companies, as they will have the ability to adapt to scaling operations and ownership responsibilities
  • Business Development & Partnership
  • Ability to work alongside marketing to manage relationships with external partners and integrations, such as marketplace listings (Salesforce, HubSpot) and channel partnerships.
  • Understanding of how to position products within these ecosystems.
