Overview

Senior Product Manager, User Data & Privacy Experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the product vision and roadmap for TikTok's user-facing data subject right tools, enabling users to manage their data securely and efficiently;


• Partner with Legal, Policy, Engineering, and UX teams to define system requirements, API contracts, and user flows that ensure both compliance and usability;


• Drive cross-platform and cross-region alignment, adapting portability solutions to different regulatory, technical, and product contexts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management with a focus on privacy or data management features for consumer-facing products;


• Strong communication and documentation skills, especially when navigating legal, technical, and policy constraints;


• Comfort with data-informed product design and basic familiarity with privacy and compliance concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching or managing products related to user data access;


• Understanding of privacy regulations and frameworks.

Job Information

Compensation (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149,040 - $311,600. Compensation may vary outside this range depending on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package; this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary by employment type and country. Employees have day-one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year, and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated on hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
