Job description

Shape the future of advertising at Amazon by leading large-scale solutions that connect advertisers with customers across the web, mobile, and connected TV devices. You'll drive the technical design and roadmap for a significant portion of Amazon's advertising business, working at the intersection of technology, data, and customer needs to deliver measurable impact for thousands of advertisers.

Key job responsibilities
  • Define Product Vision & Strategy – Drive product strategy and roadmap development by working backwards from customer needs, analyzing data to uncover insights, and defining the vision for how advertisers will connect with supply sources to optimize campaign performance. Create a clear multi-year roadmap that guides engineering, science, and design efforts across the organization.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration – Prioritize features and align stakeholders on direction, coordinating complex product initiatives across engineering, design, data science, sales, and business teams. Partner with sales and account management teams to understand advertiser challenges, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for adoption and iteration.
  • Develop Product & Business Requirements – Translate customer needs and market opportunities into comprehensive product and business requirements that guide development and launch.
  • Solve Complex Challenges – Investigate technical and business challenges using data-driven analysis to inform decision-making and identify creative solutions that address root causes.
  • Drive Adoption & Iteration – Work with global sales and account management teams to ensure successful product adoption, gather customer feedback, and continuously refine solutions based on real-world performance and advertiser needs.
A day in the life

Your day blends strategic vision with hands-on execution. You'll start by analyzing campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities, then collaborate with engineers and designers in a feature review to refine a new capability. You'll facilitate cross-team discussions to align on priorities, navigate technical trade-offs, and document product requirements that guide development. Throughout the day, you'll engage with sales and account management teams to gather real-world customer insights, validate assumptions, and iterate on your roadmap. Your work spans the complete product lifecycle—from initial strategy and prioritization through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement based on feedback.
